Lisa Rendall Golf Classic

WE HAVE A DATE!  The TENTH Annual Lisa Rendall Golf Classic Presented by Benjamin Moore will be held June 9th, 2010.  This year’s tournament will be extra special, because it’s the TENTH tournament, and it also marks TEN YEARS since Lisa’s diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer. If you thought the previous nine tournaments were a party - you ain’t seen NOTHING YET!!!

The 9th Annual Lisa Rendall Golf Classic Presented by Benjamin Moore was a GREAT success! Sincere thanks to all who came out to golf, our Sponsors and the many businesses and individuals who donated prizes. We had a picture perfect day on the course with tons of sun and even more FUN! As time permits I’ll add team photos from the tournament to a new Facebook album. If you would like me to email your team photo, please contact me at lisac95@sasktel.net. Because I didn’t organize the event this year I don’t have everyone’s email address so if you want your team photo, fire me off an email and I’ll gladly send it to you!

If you would like to make a monetary donation it’s never too early or too late. Please contact Lisa for more information (info@lisarendall.com).   Tax receipts will be issued for donations over $10 by the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency.  ALL money raised in 2009 was donated in loving memory of Angie Sather who lost her battle with breast cancer in January 2009 at the tender age of 32. Take a look at Angie’s photo below and you’ll be motivated to donate.

We reward golfers who collect donations with FABULOUS prizes!  Al Ulmer was our Top Fundraiser this year and took home a Sanyo digital video camera from Audio Warehouse.   This year our golfers brought in the MOST AMOUNT OF MONEY EVER! Over $16,000 in donations for breast cancer research were collected by just over 50 golfers. Imagine if every golfer collected a few donations….we could truly get closer to kicking breast cancer in the butt.
